Our work in the United Kingdom

JRS UK accompanies refugees and forced migrants, serving as companions and advocating their cause. JRS UK offers accompaniment and pastoral support to detained migrants held in immigration removal centres at Heathrow Airport. JRS UK offers practical and emotional support to destitute refugees and people seeking asylum through its weekly Day Centre, resilience boosting activities, and a hosting scheme for those struggling with homelessness.

JRS UK undertakes a range of advocacy work, rooted in the experience of those it accompanies and serves.
